Marketing Manager (senior) – Maternity Position
Work Type: Contract 8 month, 0.5 – 0.7 FTE
Location: Sydney, Australia
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in brand rollouts, with strengths in marketing software, social media, copywriting, and strategic thinking to drive initiatives that enhance Shalom’s brand. This role requires someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, taking on diverse responsibilities to maintain, launch, and expand the Shalom brand, its programs, and the organisation.
About the role
As the Senior Marketing Manager, you’ll implement Shalom’s brand across multiple channels. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of diverse projects that build our brand, engage the community, and further our mission.
Responsibilities
- Rebrand Rollout: Implement the rebrand, ensuring team and communications are in line with guidelines.
- Marketing Strategy: Deliver key elements of our marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- CRM and EDM: Implement database strategies, manage CRM, and optimise EDM practices.
- Digital and Social Media: Execute and oversee social media strategy, aligning communications with brand and program objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and sustain productive relationships with program managers, community partners, and other key stakeholders.
- Campaign Analysis: Analyse and report on marketing outcomes, utilising KPIs to track effectiveness.
- Leading and Collaboration: Lead the marketing team on all tasks and work with programming team to realise event and program objectives
Reporting
- Provide marketing, data analysis, interpretation and reporting insights across channels
- Report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using pre-determined KPIs
Strategic
- Implement, monitor, and evaluate Shalom’s marketing strategy and objectives in alignment with the Shalom strategy and the Shalom Brand guidelines
- Champion brand consistency across all external marketing and communication initiatives, Shalom and our funders.
- Bring best practice marketing and communications innovation to Shalom
- Direct market research activities as required and in consultation with Director of Programs
General
Work collaboratively with the entire Shalom team to deliver on Shalom’s strategy;
- Be a positive ambassador of Shalom within the organisation and beyond
- Maintain and develop strong ties with community partners
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Who we’re looking for
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in communications, marketing or media
- Previous experience in leading and managing team or stakeholders
- Previous experience in brand or system rollout
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional ability to engage and communicate to groups of people, tailoring communication to suit a specific target group or age range.
- Advanced computer skills, experience in CRM systems, ideally Zoho
