Community Garden Project

The Adamama Community Garden is a vibrant space where young Jewish adults aged 20-35 come together twice a month to grow food, build skills, and cultivate a deeper connection with the earth and each other. Located in the heart of Queens Park, this private, unfenced organic garden is all about hands-on learning and community spirit. For 2025, we’re opening 30 spots.

Participants get their own 3m garden beds and commit to a year of nurturing, planting, and harvesting their very own crops. Along the way, they dive into the fundamentals of organic gardening: from propagation and soil health to mastering the art of permaculture and even growing food from kitchen scraps.

But it’s not all about the plants—this is also about the people. The garden thrives on shared experiences, whether it’s working the soil together, swapping tips during seasonal workshops, or simply sharing a laugh.

Please fill out the form to register your expression of interest. One of our staff members will be in touch with you.

Commitment:

  • Kick-off session – introduction and safety briefing
  • Attendance of 70% to the community garden sessions during the whole year
  • High communication regarding attendance, community/ garden events, and messages in the WhatsApp group.
  • Quarterly Sessions – seasonal workshops and hands-on lessons
  • Ongoing maintenance of your garden pod
  • Social meetups will be optional but delicious
